How can I organize customer conversations without changing their stage?
Mr. AI conversation labels are reusable names defined by your business, such as “Waiting for documents” or “VIP”. A customer can have multiple labels. Labels organize human work independently of Conversation Builder stages and task statuses.
- 1
Open Chats or a customer profile and expand Conversation labels.
- 2
The account owner can create a concise label and choose its color.
- 3
Select one or more existing labels for the customer.
- 4
In Chats, choose a label in the filter to see the matching customers and count.
- 5
Export the filtered directory when needed. Bulk changes with a label filter apply to selected customers on the current page.
- 6
Rename or delete definitions only when authorized; deleting a label does not delete customers or messages.
Keep your team’s vocabulary consistent
Agree on a small shared set before creating variations. For example, use “Waiting for documents” consistently rather than several almost identical spellings. Sales users can assign existing labels only within their assigned customers; definition management belongs to the account owner.
Common questions
Why can I not see labels?
The capability may not yet be enabled for your account. Check with your account administrator or support; a public guide does not activate it.
Does a label change the AI stage or close a task?
No. Labels, stages and task statuses are separate.
Can I attach several labels?
Yes. Use multiple relevant labels; avoid sensitive information in label names.

Who can manage conversation labels?
Account owners manage label definitions. Sales employees can assign existing labels only to their assigned customers. Availability does not create a new permission or change a customer’s conversation stage.
