What do I paste into Meta?
A webhook is the address Meta calls when an event happens. Copy Callback URL and Verify Token from Mr. AI step 4. Verify Token is a handshake code, not your Page Access Token or App Secret.
- 1
Save Page and app credentials first. Open Webhooks or the Messenger webhook settings in your Meta app.
- 2
Select the Page object, not User. Copy the exact public HTTPS Callback URL and Verify Token from Mr. AI.
- 3
Paste both values and choose Verify and Save, or the equivalent action shown in your Meta app.
- 4
Enable messages, message_echoes, messaging_postbacks and messaging_optins for the Page webhook.
- 5
Return to Mr. AI step 5 and separately check the actual Page subscription.
messages receives customer messages. message_echoes receives messages sent by the Page, including human replies from Meta Business Suite. messaging_postbacks receives supported button actions. messaging_optins receives supported opt-in events.
Webhook recovery
Verify and Save fails.
Copy Callback URL and Verify Token again from Mr. AI step 4 and confirm that you are using the intended Meta app. If you generate a new Verify Token, update Meta and verify again. If verification still fails, contact support with the visible error and step number.
Should I add standby or messaging_handovers?
No. Mr. AI human takeover does not require Meta Handover Protocol.
Webhook verified but messages are missing.
Check the Page subscription in step 5, then Meta permissions and public access. Send a new message from a separate customer account and check whether it reaches Chats; address verification alone does not test message delivery.
Get your Facebook Page ID and Page Access Token
Verify and repair the Page subscription
Check the result
Check Callback URL, verify token and all four fields in the Meta app, then verify the Page subscription separately.
