# Request account and data removal
## What happens when I request removal of my Mr. AI account?

After confirming the current password and entering a clear reason, the account is disabled, you are signed out, and final deletion is scheduled after 30 days. Keeping de-identified chat text is optional and requires explicit consent.

- The current password is required.
- The interface requires a reason of at least 10 characters.
- The account is disabled immediately after confirmation.

## Before confirming

1. Export or retain data your company is authorized to keep.
2. Open Settings and Profile, then find the account-removal area.
3. Enter the current password and explain why you are leaving.
4. Review the de-identified-chat option and leave it unchecked when you do not consent.
5. Review the final confirmation and submit; you will be signed out immediately.
