# Manage the connection and solve common problems
## Connection management

- Refresh to request the current server connection state.
- Open connection details to inspect the active connection Mr.AI recognizes.
- Reconnect when authorization is expired, revoked, incomplete, or Mr.AI reports reconnect required.
- Disconnect when you no longer want that assistant connected. Disconnecting does not modify the live AI Employee configuration.
- The manual AI workflow remains available while disconnected, reconnecting, revoked, expired, or unavailable.

## Troubleshooting

### Not connected

Connect only if you want the connected workflow. You can use the manual AI workflow immediately.

### Reconnect required

Reconnect from the assistant, complete authorization again, then refresh Mr.AI until the server confirms the connection.

### Limited capabilities

Use the areas Mr.AI currently exposes and use the manual workflow for unsupported areas.

### ChatGPT Scan Tools fails

Confirm the endpoint is exactly https://access.mrailabs.com/mcp, complete OAuth again, and retry the current ChatGPT custom-app flow.

### Claude connector is unauthorized

Reconnect the custom connector and complete Mr.AI OAuth again. A stale Claude connector entry is not proof of active authorization.

### Connection unavailable or failed

Refresh the connection state and retry the supported flow. A failed connection attempt does not change the live AI Employee configuration.

### Proposal validation failed

Read the review message. If the configuration changed or the proposal became stale, create and review a fresh proposal.

### Testing failed

Return to Proposal Review and start Testing again. Testing failure does not publish the proposal.

### Apply failed

Review the returned state before retrying. Do not treat the proposal as applied unless Mr.AI confirms success.

### Rollback failed

Review the returned state before retrying. Do not treat rollback as complete unless Mr.AI confirms success.

## Credential safety

> Do not share passwords, API keys, authorization headers, OAuth codes, access tokens, refresh tokens, or assistant credentials in prompts, exported packages, screenshots, or support notes.
